Good morning!
For this week, we each have to create a digital story. Post your idea or theme/concept below so that we can make sure not to overlap one another in terms of what our stories are about.
Taylor - Types of Sources to use when gathering data on their historical figure
Bethany - A Visit to a Museum
Amanda - Identifying artifacts from the historical figures lifetime and their material of origin.
Just as a precautionary thing...what kind of computer do you each have? I have a PC, so do not have access to iMovie if either of you have Macs.
ReplyDeleteI have an HP so I do not have access to iMovie either.
DeleteI also have an HP. I just wanted to make sure we were all compatible!
DeleteI was under the understanding that it was a group project and we were creating a digital story collectively! My mistake!
ReplyDeleteAs I am trying to think of topics for the digital story, I thought of doing one as an introduction to introduce what we are aiming to model our event after (as it is a live history museum), but also to get students excited for a field trip to the Kalamazoo Valley Museum as we have outlined on our concept map. What do either of you think of this?
ReplyDeleteI think that sounds like a good idea!
DeleteI have a Samsung with windows.
ReplyDeleteDo you both have MovieMaker? My HP with Windows 10 does not and I can't figure out how to download it. Luckily I have my old Dell with it, but I'm sure it's an outdated version.
ReplyDeleteI did not have it on my laptop either! I ended up making my digital story using iMovie on my iPad.
DeleteApparently this was a problem for many! I ended up using my old laptop and it worked just fine thankfully. I am glad you were able to figure out a way to do yours!
DeleteProfessor, posted a link to some other movie maker yesterday I believe.
DeleteMovie maker seems to work ok for me. It's just taking FOREVER for me to get it figured out! I've been messing with it for two days straight, trying to make this video!
